Nathalia Dinis

Instructor

You could say that mixed martial arts is in Nathalia Dinis's DNA with her older brother and Dad doing MMA. At first she was attached to her older brother, Marcus Vinicius and just wanted to watch, but soon enough she fell in love with the sport and started teaching 16 students in Brazil.

She started with kickboxing, professional boxing and striking. Not to mention, she's 4th degree in Taekwondo. Her journey continues when she meets Sensei Will at a fight. Ultimately, she wants her career to not just excel in performance in Taekwondo, Full-Contact, Karate, but connect with students on a deeper level and have them trust her. She wants to inspire little girls that it's possible, not just for the boys and to fight hard with the boys. Nathalia says, "We, ladies can be fragile and sensitive but can be beasts too." At the end of the day, she wants to inspire students to fight and learn to defend without someone helping them.

Some notable mentions about her are that out of 60 fighters, she was Brazil's Best Female Fighter in 2015 in Brazil Open Competition. Even though she competes regularly, she vividly remembers her first fight in Colombia and how she exchanged punching and kicking. Another vibrant moment was when she fought in New York at her first fight and Sensei Will helped her get out of her comfort zone. She says Sensei Will's training is not your typical. "He will push and make you feel uncomfortable so when it comes to the fight, it would be easier and actually enjoyable. He helps you achieve things that you're more than capable of."

As if she's not busy enough already, she is a part-time Taekwondo owner and active in the Combat Taekwondo Organization. She was called to fight in multiple countries including Colombia, Brazil, and Philippines.
