How I Used Visualization and Prayer to Build the Life I Saw in My Dreams—and How You Can Too
Throughout my life, I’ve felt guided by a deep sense of purpose, knowing that the man I am today is only a part of the man I’m destined to become. I’ve seen glimpses of my future, much like the visions of Daniel in the Bible. These revelations, through visualization and prayer, have shaped my path.
My Journey with Visualization:
Early Inspiration: Raised in the church, I longed to experience divine insights and prayed for guidance.
Discovering Visualization: In seventh grade, I saw how picturing success in sports made a real impact.
Applying It to Sports: I imagined key plays, game strategies, and victories before they happened.
A Life-Changing Game: I led my team with belief and determination, resulting in an undefeated season.
The Power of Faith and Mental Focus:
Faith & Preparation: Visualization and prayer aren’t just about winning—they prepare you for setbacks too.
Writing for Clarity: Journaling my thoughts has helped me stay focused and connect with my purpose.
Coaching Others: I guide students to use these techniques for their own transformation.
If you’re looking to refocus your mind and take control of your future, reach out. Start visualizing, document your journey, and trust the process. You might just surprise yourself.
So, You Want to Be a Fighter?
"Sensei! I want to be a fighter! Can you train me?"
I hear this question all the time. The excitement in a young person’s eyes when they dream of making it to the UFC, Karate Combat, or ONE Championship is inspiring. But the truth is, there’s a 99.9% chance they won’t make it. Why? Because becoming a fighter requires sacrifices most people can’t comprehend.
The Reality of a Fighter's Life:
Sacrifices: No video games, no Netflix binges, no late nights with friends. Fighting becomes your life.
Total Commitment: Every decision revolves around training, diet, and preparation.
A Team Effort: You need mentors, coaches, training partners, managers, and sponsors.
Marketing Yourself: Fighters today must build their brand. If you can’t sell tickets, you won’t get fights.
Finding the Right Coach: A great coach has a plan for your success, both in training and in your career.
Do You Have What It Takes?
Document Your Journey: If you want to be a fighter, start sharing your story now.
Build Your Brand: Invest in social media, professional photos, and video content.
Seek the Right Guidance: If your coach doesn’t have experience taking fighters to the top, reconsider your path.
Burn the Ships: If you’re in, you’re all in. There’s no plan B.
If you’re serious, read this again and reflect. If you still want to pursue this path, come talk to me. Maybe we can figure something out.
